Who may want to talk with a clinician before fasting?
Fasting can change blood sugar and how some medications and conditions behave. It is usually reviewed with a clinician first during pregnancy or postpartum, with blood-sugar medication, or with a history of an eating disorder. A clinician can help with questions about fasting.
